Starr Martin (Undergraduate Research Assistant) presented her poster at the Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD) Biennial Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota! Her poster demonstrated the effects of facial expression, situations, and sentence frames on preschool aged children’s ability to learn emotion words. 👶🧠
BCDLAB at VSS 2025
Maeve Boylan (Post-doc) and Grace Wallsinger (Graduate Student) presented their posters at the conference hosted by Vision Sciences Society (VSS). Maeve’s poster demonstrated how age and training conditions affect infants’ attention to objects. Grace’s poster demonstrated how race familiarity affects infants’ attention to faces. 👶🧠
