Maeve Boylan

Post Doc, University of Florida

Graduated with a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Florida, a B.S. in Psychology  from the University of Florida, an M.S. in Psychology from the University of Florida, and a Ph.D. in Psychology (Cognitive Neuroscience) from the University of Florida.

I am a postdoctoral researcher here in the Brain, Cognition, and Development lab. Throughout graduate training, my research utilized multimodal methods (EEG and fMRI) to examine the dynamic processes employed in selective and competitive attention as well as the underlying mechanisms of experience-based short-term visuocortical plasticity. Currently, my research includes all aspects of EEG and MRI for the HEALthy Brain and Cognitive Development project. In addition, I am very interested in assessing reliability and ensuring methodology of EEG-based paradigms are replicable and valid.

Beyond my research interests, I enjoy cooking, crafting, watching hockey and F1, and being a mediocre trivia competitor.
